The OVERWORLD is the starting dimension in Minecraft. As with all dimensions in the game, the Overworld can generate infinitely.
While in the Overworld you only need to be on alert in the night time, The Nether does not have a day and night cycle. So all the Mobs will spawn like its night time all constantly.
Not only the ocean of lava will be your challenge.
You will have to fight new mobs that you never fought before in the Overworld.
Try not falling in the lava.
